Last week while on my way to give another free moving estimate in South Austin, I happened upon this truckload of “movers” and snapped a picture with my phone.

If you look closely you will see 2 men without uniforms riding with that un-padded chest of drawers in the back of this open truck. I don’t know if the name of this Moving Company was “Unsafe and Illegal Movers”, because there were no markings at all on the truck.

The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles requires that movers be licensed and that they display their license number on their trucks. Protect yourself by looking for these telltale signs when selecting a mover.
