HOUSTON (KTRK) — The moving company at the center of complaints from consumers is now under investigation by the state Department of Motor Vehicles. More consumers are coming forward, saying the promise of a $99 move turned into a bill for thousands.
The company called 99 Dollar Movers appeared to offer a great deal, but consumers say the movers who showed up instead charged them thousands of dollars. Now we are learning 99 Dollar Movers is itself on the move.
